Die Form der Teller ergibt sich aus der Spannung zwischen Stillstand und Bewegung. Während die Oberseite aus einer Konkave mit leicht aufragendem Rand in eine gerade Fläche übergeht und so Arrangements für unterschiedliche Speisentypen zulässt, hebt die Unterseite als Antagonist die ganze Form

an und lässt durch das entstehende Schattenbild den Eindruck entstehen als sei der Teller in einer Bewegung schwebend über dem Tisch eingefangen.

Die Schalen bilden kontrollierte und ruhige Kontrapunkte während das

handgeschmiedete Besteck das Sinnerlebnis des Essens durch archaische Anleihen akzentuiert.

The design of the plates covers a span between still and motion. The top side is formed with a slightly concave area that becomes plain while the bottom side elevates the whole object from the table and gives the impression as if the dinnerware is frozen in a floating movement.

The cups are a calm and controlled counterpart and the cutlery that was handcrafted by a blacksmith acentuates the archaic element of the sensous experience within a dinner.
