Porcelain Shop

Shop

At the castle of Leuchtenburg in Thuringia  a new porcelain museum with an ambitious exhibition concept will be completed in the near future. In contrast to the masonry of the old castle the new building for the museum shop was created, following a breathtaking architectural concept. We curated the shop concept and developed the presentation system and the shop furniture. The product range comprises porcelain pieces from Thuringia and represents the history of this region and its manufacturers. In that way the shop can be seen not only as a place for buying porcelain but also as a part of the exhibition.
After examining and structuring all the variety of tableware and figurines we are happy seeing the shop becoming real.

The edition comprises beautiful art nouveau figurines in white bisquit porcelain, figurines with refined
details of copper and platinum and solid coloured figurines in velvet matt teal, lavender and beige tones.

Thank you Milan

We want to thank the Ventura Lambrate team for the nice time we had in Milan. Everything was perfectly organized and we like what Lambrate has become for the Milan furniture fair.

Interioricity

It is invisible, intangible, fascinating and almost magical. It helps us in everday life, we are dependent on it and hardly can survive without it. Our relation to electricity is ambivalent. On the one hand it is a dangerous complicate technical thing that has to be firmly installed inside concrete walls with standardised and certificated interfaces, not made to be decorative but to feel save living with it. We hide plugs and cables. On the other hand it enables us to run our gadgets and devices that accompany us and we use cables and plugs all the time.

So why not spend some love to work on things we need and use everyday? Questions wait to be answered.

Coloured textile cables, plugs, lampshades and joints can be combined and placed in various constellations. The extension cord with the plug works as a cable storage on the wall. The setting can either consist of one single cable or there can derive up to three cables from the joint. The ends can be equipped with electric plugs or LED lamps. All lamps and plugs can be hung or placed on a desk. Metal frames hold the lampshades in position.
